Tariq Krim is an entrepreneur, web pioneer, and tech philosopher. He is one of the leading voices on digital sovereignty in Europe.

He founded Netvibes and Jolicloud, two iconic European startups that helped shape Web 2.0. He also coined the concept of the “Slow Web,” promoting a calmer relationship with technology.

He has advised the French Government on technology, helped create the eG8, and served as Vice President of the French National Digital Council. His 2013 government mission to promote talents in tech was key to the launch of La French Tech, the Tech Visa, and sparked an early conversation on digital sovereignty.

For the last decade, Tariq has had a strong interest in the intersection of geopolitics, technology, and AI. His newsletter Cybernetica is the leading French newsletter on digital sovereignty.

He also runs The Sovereign Way, a private think tank that helps organisations and leaders navigate digital uncertainty.

With Prototype.earth, a new product research lab, he is working on building products that can exist in a world surrounded by human and artificial intelligence.

He also launched an AI product research lab.
